This isn't your average Point A to Point B journey. Stretching from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver all the way to Squamish, you can explore this marine trail by canoe, kayak, SUP or boat. With campsites and points of interest sprinkled all around the scenic Howe Sound, you've got the freedom to paddle your own path, zigzagging through this watery wonderland however you feel.

But with its allure comes responsibility—this magical coast is as fragile as it is stunning, and increased visitation calls for mindful recreation. Please read up on and adhere to the BC Marine Trails Code of Conduct to leave this place as pristine as you found it.

Useful Information
While you can explore the Sea to Sky Marine Trail at any time of year, conditions are best (and the weather is more cooperative) in Spring and Summer.
There are a number of campsites in Howe Sound, including six new recreational sites that have been established. The BC Marine Trails map will provide detailed information on each site, inlcuding landing information, capacity and shelter from winds.
This coastline can be described as an inherently dangerous location. Marine trail users assume the risk of navigating the BC coast. The BC Marine Trails Network has pinpointed some key locations where risks are increased due to pre-existing known conditions or possibility of risk. However, marine trail users are cautioned that risk can occur at any time at any location, and proper equipment, clothing, rescue gear, preparation and training are recommended to ensure optimal safety. Recurring safety considerations include weather, winds, currents and rips, ferry lane crossings, and shipping lanes
