Cat Lake Recreation Site
North of Squamish just off Highway 99, you'll find Cat Lake, a beautiful spot tucked into the woods. Play on the small beach, jump off the dock and cast your lines for Rainbow Trout.
The area is also a popular starting spot for mountain bikers looking to ride Cheshire Cat and Section 57 as well as dirt bikers in the summer.
For those looking to stay longer, there are walk-in campsites all around the lake, which are first come, first served.
We ask that all visitors are bear aware and not leave any food or garbage unattended for any length of time. Please keep your food in coolers in your vehicles or in the food caches provided on the site.
How to get here
Turn right onto the Cheekeye Forest Service Road from the Sea-to-Sky highway, travel approximately 2.5km and you'll find the parking lot on the right-hand side.
