Flora and fauna at the Cheakamus Centre

Join the Community Conservation Corner and SRWS at the Cheakamus Centre to explore and identify!

If you haven’t had a chance to visit their incredible grounds yet, now’s your chance. It’s a very special place to learn & explore in! There will be guided walks and activities to learn more about our local flora and fauna. You are welcome to explore the grounds on your own with books or Seek and iNaturalist. We will be there for confirmation. Bring your own plant identification book or borrow ours. Directions from Squamish: Drive North on the Sea-to-Sky Hwy/BC-99 N. Turn left onto Squamish Valley Rd (Signs for Paradise Valley). The entrance is on the right side of the road. It is the SECOND entrance of the Cheakamus Centre, located at 49°49'10.2"N 123°09'17.4”W. There will be a small farm on your right as you drive in with a parking to your left. Supported by the District of Squamish and the Squamish Community Foundation
