Big Fat Comedy Show with Jeremy Meakins
Killer lineup of funny folks from across Squamish and the Lower Mainland kicking things off.
Squamish’s favourite night of stand-up, The Big Fat Comedy Show, is back with a stacked lineup to get your fall started with some big fat laughs.
This month, Trickster's has the rare privilege of hosting a Squamish local, Jeremy Meakins, in the headlining spot.
Jeremy is one of the funniest writers we’ve come across, blending his insightful takes on politics, history, and Squamish life into one eminently charming package. In the feature spot, they’ve got the King of Fraser Valley comedy, Alex Svarez (Last Laffs Comedy, TrashMouth Podcast), who is currently posting a new joke every day until he gets to open for Burt Kreischer. That’s commitment, baby! That’s on top of a killer lineup of funny folks from across Squamish and the Lower Mainland kicking things off.
Sponsored by Backcountry Brewing, there’ll be dope prize giveaways, and bitchin’ food and drink deals from the good people at Trickster’s.
Show at 9pm; doors at 8pm. General admission: $20.
Trickster’s Hideout is Squamish’s beloved arts hub, located at 38005 Cleveland Avenue downtown. Entrance around back in the alley, cuz we’re shifty like that.
