Golf in Squamish
Golf in Squamish among pristine parkland, established forests, mountain backdrops and panoramic ocean views at one of the area's two golf courses.
Our lush landscaping and mountain views are more than just par for the course. If you are lucky, you might also see some of Squamish’s endemic wildlife like bald eagles, black bears, elk and black-tailed deer while playing the links.
Whichever course you choose – we recommend playing both – you’re sure to have a unique experience you will never forget.
Where to go
Squamish Valley Golf Course
Built in 1967, this walkable 6,467-yard 18-hole, par 72 course offers a lush classic parkland along the bends of the Mamquam River where you’ll find five lakes and be surrounded by mature trees. The course played host to the Canadian Open Qualifier in 2015 and is home to one of the largest and longest-running BC Men’s Tournaments, Squamish Men’s Amateur.
The Clubhouse at the Squamish Valley Golf Course is a long-time local ‘hidden gem’, with a scenic patio and casual menu.
FINAL DAY: NOVEMBER 11th, 2024. REOPENING MID-MARCH 2025
Furry Creek Golf Course
One look at BC’s most scenic golf course and you might just forget about the sport altogether. Known for its panoramic ocean views, the par 72, 18-hole course at Furry Creek is landscaped to perfection.
Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Muir Graves, Furry Creek is his sole Canadian venue. From the signature 14th hole located right on the shores of Howe Sound (you might recognize it from a famous scene in the movie Happy Gilmore) to the 7th hole placed over 300 feet above sea level, the course has twists and turns through rainforest and ravines with over 6000 yards of soul-testing golf adventure that will leave a lasting impression.
After you play, dine above water at the Sea to Sky Restaurant and Treetops Lounge where you’ll be treated to elegant west coast fare overlooking Howe Sound and the 18th green. It's the perfect spot to après your epic golf session.
