Head to Downtown Squamish on Canada Day July 1 for Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Squamish Together, a celebration of community.

Let’s remember our past, honour our traditional lands, and aim toward a brighter future together… Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Squamish Together is a day that celebrates our diversely rich community amongst live music, art, food and beverage, and craft from many community groups and cultures.

Everyone has something to contribute and diversity is our greatest strength. Every aspect of this event will be carefully considered to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. The goal is to create a space where people of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs feel comfortable expressing themselves and being who they are. 

Event organizers have taken steps to ensure that this event reflects the needs of everyone and is accessible to all members of the community and visitors.

If you have specific needs or accommodations, please let the team know know in advance, and they will do their best to make sure that you feel comfortable and can fully participate.

Food trucks will serve a variety of menu items and a craft beer garden will be open to those 19+.

In addition to entertainment, the event will include a kids’ zone, community meet-and-greets and a X̱ex̱e7énaḵ Creators Together Market.
