Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby Show

The West Coast Railway Association is pleased to announce they will be hosting the Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby Show once again this March at the Railway Museum of BC in Squamish.

In addition to 2 days of model trains and hobbies, operating layouts and displays, 'behind the scenes' Guided Tours, the Museum will be running their 'Big Red' CN Track Speeder and the Mini-Rail train all weekend! Lots of fun and many activities for the whole family.

Staff and volunteers have organized a full weekend train show event for model railroaders, hobbyists and families to enjoy in our CN Roundhouse and Car Shop exhibit spaces. You’ll be surrounded by trains of all sizes, including our famous Royal Hudson #2860 and other historic steam locomotives, cabooses and luxury passenger cars.

There will be operating model railway train layouts from large to small scales. See detailed scale model train displays. Visit model train and hobby vendors selling new and used model trains and railway accessories, diecast model vehicles, plastic model kits and other hobby items, tools and supplies. Tour the museum’s operating model railway display and vintage model trains collection located inside a passenger car.

For only $3, take a 20 minute ride on the mini rail trains, covering 2 km of track around the museum grounds.
