Pedal With Pride

Pedal with Pride is a new community event happening in Squamish on June 15th, 2024.

This is a beginner mountain bike event for the 2SLGBTQIA+ Squamish community just in time for Pride month. This event is in partnership with Dialed In Cycling and Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association (SORCA).

This will be a fun-filled day of mountain biking for self-identifying 2SLGBTQIA+ participants interested in mountain biking.

The day will start at the Brennan Park Skills Park for a mountain biking lesson, followed by a lunch break, then a friendly social ride on the Brackendale Trails near Depot Road, Squamish. Coaches, helmets, rental bikes, and bike transportation are all generously provided by Dialed In Cycling. Lunch will also be provided.

This event has limited spaces and is available to individuals who are:

Self-identifying 2SLGBTQIA+ aged 15+
Comfortable on a commuter, road, or gravel bike, but have never touched a mountain bike or have been on a mountain bike less than 5 times
