Experience the magic of the holiday season aboard the North Pole Express at the Railway Museum of BC.

Book early to get the times you want for your train ride. The train crews are already busy making the North Pole Express ready for your visit. There will be 5 running per day on Saturdays and 4 running trains on Sundays every weekend starting November 25th, 2023.

The North Pole Express is a fun family Christmas event that takes you on an adventurous and entertaining train ride all the way from Candyland Station to the North Pole.

Kids of every age are welcome to don their pajamas and enjoy the entertainment as you take the train to The North Pole to deliver much needed wrapping paper and bows to Marshall P. Bear, the Polar Bear that is the head of Santa’s workshop

Along the way you and your family will meet all sorts of characters, enjoy cookies, sing Christmas carols and holiday songs, drink hot chocolate and do many activities for the kids. You will eventually find your way to Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a family photoshoot to preserve your memories of this exciting day.

The North Pole Express train will be led by the 1950’s vintage FP9A passenger locomotives. CN #6520 and/or CP #4069. The train consists of several of our restored CN coaches, and will feature the historic Canadian Pacific ‘Alberta’ Business Car with open observation platform at the end of the train.
