Live in the Lab: Build a whale!
This summer, historic interpreters will bring the exhibit to life with the interactive program, Live in the Lab: Build a Whale.
With help from trained staff, you will have a chance to touch real whale bones and help assemble a real killer whale rib cage and backbone. Learn how wildlife from giant predators to tiny plankton were impacted by acid rock drainage from the old mine, and discover how scientists are helping to restore life to local waters.
