A visitor's guide to the Squamish Wind Festival

As July comes to an end, Downtown Squamish is coming alive with one of Squamish's biggest summer festivals, the fourth annual Squamish Wind Festival! It features four jam-packed days of all things art, music and wind. Here’s our guide to catching all the action - for free!

Local Art

The weekend kicks off with the grand opening of the Wind Festival Art Exhibition. The theme of the show, which will run all weekend, is Blown Away.  The exhibition opens at 2:00PM at Downtown Squamish in Junction Park by the O'Siyam Pavillion.

Movie Under the Stars

Bring the family and your blankets to Junction Park for an evening of games, prizes and popcorn that ends with an outdoor screening of Beauty and the Beast.  The event will run from 7:00PM - 11:00PM. 

Live Music at the Park

Soak up the tunes in the heart of Downtown Squamish with free live music on Thursday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM,  Saturday from 11:00PM - 3:00PM. 

Thursday Lineup: Thursday is the emerging artists series - come check out local Sea to Sky Corridor performers as they break onto the scene. 

Saturday Lineup:  Ira Pettle, The Splinters, Mazacote, and Lovecoast.

Local Produce and Artisan Goods

Saturday: The weekly Squamish Farmer's Market will run from 9:00AM - 3:00PM, at Junction Park. and will feature local artisans, and farm-fresh produce and goodies. 

Sunday:  Artisan Alley! Come down to Junction Park from 11:00AM - 3:00PM to shop locally made jewellery, home decor, and much more.
