Squamish Valley & Paradise Valley
It’s not a coincidence that one of Squamish’s most photographed stretches of road leads to a place called Paradise Valley. The Upper Squamish area of Squamish Valley and Paradise Valley offers endless amount of year-round recreation from hiking, biking, fishing and wilderness camping to cabin getaways that will beg you to come back for more.
The Ashlu and Elaho Valleys are two of the most well-known spots in this particular area, both of which are whitewater rafting and kayaking hotspots. Upper Squamish is also home to the Cheakamus Centre, Sunwolf, and Paradise Valley Campground.
Heading north on the Sea to Sky Highway, take the Squamish Valley Road exit opposite Alice Lake and follow it approximately 2.5 kilometres over the train tracks to the main fork for Squamish Valley to the left and Paradise Valley to the right. Alternatively, take the scenic route from Government Road which runs parallel to the Sea to Sky Highway.
