Downtown Squamish
You’ll find a healthy vibe of arts, culture and commerce in Squamish’s vibrant downtown core.
Stroll along Cleveland Avenue, Squamish’s main street, and stop at the many retail shops, cafes, restaurants or pubs while appreciating the street art and views of The Stawamus Chief and Mount Garabaldi along the way.
Downtown is also home to the Squamish Public Library, the Municipal Hall and two green spaces. O’Siyam Pavilion is a multi-purpose outdoor structure that acts as a stage for several outdoor music performances and community events throughout the year. Stan Clarke Park has a paved walkway, a central plaza and a popular gated playground.
During the summer, Downtown Squamish is bustling with live music and special events including the Squamish Arts Festival, the Squamish Days Loggers Sports Parade and the weekly Squamish Farmers’ Market, located at Cleveland Avenue and Victoria Street. Be sure to walk over to Squamish’s scenic oceanfront just behind Logger's Lane on the new Mamquam Blind Channel boardwalk and watch as the boats enter and leave the channel.
